2 years ago i watched this video and 2 years later i come back and realize the same thought pops up into my head. This is actually not the worst quest despite all the flaws. Taking fort strong is the worst quest because one again you and the BOS are needing to take down a super mutant But theres little to no threat because you're in a vertibird circling clunky bethesda AI with an unlimited ammo minigun. Not only that you get access to the BoS rather early it doesnt take long to kill kellog and then bam you get t-60b armor and if you want to know how that compares to t-45F well t-60c is equal iirc.

I loved Fallout 1 when i played it. While i still love 4 1 and 4 are tied for my favorites. I play whether im looking for a good fallout story or have good gameplay in a fallout world.

They offer power armour early to show the player what they can look forward to. One fusion core won't last long and a new player won't be getting them faster than they're using them more than likely. Sure you can get the armour, but you can't really use it long until you progress further

There should have been a subtype of deathclaw in fo4. Something a little easier than a normal deathclaw but still a huge threat. For example the Gatorclaws in Nukaworld I find are much easier to out down compared to deathclaws. Simply reskinning a gatorclaw to fit within the base game would almost completely fix the freedoms call problem.

One mission I really like that's unmarked is at The Fort (the Legion one). There's a slave girl there named Melody and if you're a bleeding heart taking advantage of free run of the camp, you can go on an epic mission to Save Sergeant Teddy from an asshole legionnaire (I know I know, narrow it down) who stole said bear to toss it to his dogs as a dog toy.

What's really annoying about Suits You, Sara is what doesn't count for vault suits. Like Utility Vault suits from Vault 3? You can dig up ten easy while clearing out the fiends, but those don't count for some reason.

I remember at one point getting burnt out on this and Fallout 2 in the mid 2000s, then discovering the conversion mod for FO1 making the game run with the FO2 engine, which was actually a better experience. Then there was the Fallout Restoration Mod for Fallout 2 from No Mutants Allowed, adding in dozens of hours of cut content, that revitalized my interest in the two games.

fallout 4 giving the player power armor at the start makes sense, the main character has a military background and will most likely know how to operate any power armor suit. Plus bethesda knows early on you cannot maintain said powerarmor, so even though you have the suit, theres no way youre going to be able to keep it repaired and powered until you hit lvl20-30 or so.

I feel this one. On my current playthrough, I scrapped my initial 10mm for this exact reason, but I just found a 10mm with a bonus to limb damage. The game really isn't letting me have this one.
