They do give you a very overpowered power armor right in the beginning but they also give you a fusion core that’s half empty that won’t last you long and for new players like me who didn’t know where to find them and found them too expensive to buy I went hours into the game before I was able to use it infinitly

late to the video but easy solution would be baton untill end of vault 111 go home visit sanctuary with codsworth in one house dead guy with pistol and basic protection (leather arm..) and a dialog with cods for game to confirm player understands. the player would undertstand danger and armeur too..Etc oh and Get rid of that deathclaw lol or replace with something easier.

You played in normal/easy mode and complain about the OP of the suit? In hardcore/survival difficulty mode you can't even tank that early Deathclaw with the suit.

You didn't say the worse part of the Glowing Drink quest in Fallout 3, one of the rewards is the Nuka Grenade schematics that USES THE FUCKING QUANTOM COLA'S YOU JUST GAVE THE WENCH!!!!! I hated that quest so much. I will defend the Mill Worker quest, I loved the exploration of the Pit and the rewards are the huge bonus.

I think a good solution would've been to make you lose the power armor and minigun at the end of the quest, then its more of a taste of what's to come without making you op right away, and without the need to nerf the minigun

You have access to power armor early but this is why fusion cores were added to power them. You dont have access to those early on. I'm aware there are a few cores you can find but in general they aren't easy to come by early on. You also have to maintain the power armor too.
